Venues
Federation Square
When you arrive in Melbourne, make your way to the heart of the city—Federation Square, known affectionately as "Fed Square" by locals. Nestled on the traditional lands of the Kulin Nation, this iconic precinct, which opened in 2002, is a celebration of Melbourne’s rich diversity and creativity.
Fed Square is home to some of Melbourne’s most significant cultural institutions. Among them is the Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia, which houses a remarkable collection of Australian art. Just a stone's throw away, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) invites visitors into the world of film, television, and digital culture through interactive screenings and exhibits.

The Edge
The Edge at Federation Square will hosts all sessions at CCR Down Under 2025. A stunning example of modern architecture, The Edge features a sleek, geometric exterior and a glass façade that harmoniously blends with its surroundings. With ample natural light, the venue offers sweeping views of Federation Square and the Melbourne skyline. It’s an exceptional space for our meeting in Australia, with standing room along the upper balconies, seating at the stage’s edge, and a tiered auditorium for optimal viewing.
The venue provides the perfect backdrop to the results presentations of numerous major critical care trials, both on site and for those watching the livestream from around the world.

Zinc
Zinc at Federation Square will serve as the hub for our exhibition, welcome function, registration, and catering areas. Just a minute’s walk from The Edge, delegates can enjoy Melbourne's famous barista coffee, network with industry professionals, sample local food, and take in the stunning views of the city. Featuring two outdoor decks, Zinc offers an ideal backdrop with views over the Yarra River, providing the perfect setting for casual interactions and relaxation.
Arrive early for registration, get a coffee, chat with the faculty, delegates and exhibitors, or just enjoy the many rowers as they cruise by. It is adjacent to the Edge, with less than 1 minutes walk between the two venue, allowing you to maximise your off meeting time.
